The total number of new cases of COVID-19 the disease caused by the coronavirus has increased daily. There are more than 732,000 cases recorded globally, among those cases are celebrities.
Here are all the celebrities tested positive for coronavirus:
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were some of the first celebrities to be diagnosed with COVID-19. They released a statement on March 11 through social media.
Idris Elba
The British actor and musician said he has tested positive for COVID-19 on March 16 in a video posted on social media and that, although he had no symptoms so far, he was isolating himself from others. On March 21, Elba’s wife, Sabrina Dhowre, revealed she also tested positive for COVID-19.
Utah Jazz
The NBA suspended its season after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus. The NBA player was severely criticized after he mockingly touched the microphones and voice recorders at a media event on March 9, three days before he was diagnosed.
Sophie Grégoire Trudeau
Sophie Grégoire Trudeau is the wife of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. She tested positive for the coronavirus on March 12. Justin Trudeau and his wife both remained in isolation for two weeks.
Olga Kurylenko
The Quantum of Solace actor revealed she has tested positive in an Instagram post on Sunday, March 16.
“Locked up at home after having tested positive for Coronavirus. I’ve been ill for almost a week now. Fever and fatigue are my main symptoms. Take care of yourself and do take this seriously,” she wrote in the Instagram caption.
On Sunday, the actress shared an update on Instagram and said that she was “completely recovered.”
Callum Hudson-Odoi
The Chelsea soccer team player tested positive for COVID-19 last week. “As you may be aware I had the virus for the last couple of days, which I have recovered from,” he said in a video posted on Twitter on Friday, March 13.
“Thank you for all your good wishes,” he wrote in the Tweet. “As I said in the video I’m feeling good and hope to see you all soon!!”
Kristofer Hivju
The 41-year-old actor, who played Tormund on Game of Thrones, tested positive for the new coronavirus on March 17. He shared on Instagram that he will be self-isolating at home “for as long as it takes.”
Rachel Matthews
Rachel Matthews, who voiced Honeymaren in “Frozen 2,″ tested positive for the novel coronavirus, she shared on Instagram Stories on March 16 that she had tested positive for COVID-19 and is in quarantine.
Kevin Durant, basketball player
Kevin Durant is among the four Nets players who tested positive for the coronavirus. Durant confirmed the positive test to The Athletic and said he is feeling fine.
Charlotte Lawrence, singer
Singer Charlotte Lawrence tested positive for COVID-19, which she confirmed in an Instagram post on March 17. Lawrence encouraged her followers to stay home to slow the spread of the virus.
Indira Varma, actor
The Game of Thrones star revealed her diagnosis on Instagram.
Prince Albert of Monaco
According to the Independent, palace officials confirmed Prince Albert tested positive for coronavirus.
Daniel Dae Kim
Daniel Dae Kim learned that he tested positive for COVID-19 on March 18. He shared his diagnosis in a 10-minute Instagram video on Thursday, explaining that he’s been in isolation in his home in Hawaii.

The Boston Celtics guard announced on Twitter that he had tested positive for COVID-19.
Sean Payton
The head coach of the NFL’s New Orleans Saints told ESPN on March 19 that he had tested positive. He said he is resting at home and feeling fatigued.
Colton Underwood
The 28-year-old former Bachelor revealed on Twitter that he tested positive for COVID-19. “This virus doesn’t care how old or healthy you are,” he wrote in the caption. “Please take care of yourselves and your loved ones and stay home.”

The Younger actor posted about her diagnosis on Instagram on Saturday, March 22.
Prince Charles
The Prince of Wales and heir to the British throne tested positive for the coronavirus on March 25. The 71-year-old is displaying mild symptoms “but otherwise remains in good health”, said a spokesman for the Clarence House royal residence, adding that he was self-isolating at a royal estate in Scotland.
Boris Johnson
The prime minister of the United Kingdom said on March 27 that he tested positive for coronavirus and was self-isolating.
