My son loves Dr Pepper so when I found this recipe I thought he’ll like it. But it turned out that we all loved it, especially me not just for how delicious it is, but also how easy it is to make.

Ingredients
- 1 to 1 1/2 lb beef roast
- 1 Tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp steak sauce (your favorite)
- ·salt and pepper
- 1 c beef broth or water and bouillon

- 1 c dr pepper
- 1 Tbsp starch
- 1/2 c water
Directions
- In a skillet over medium high heat add the olive oil and sear the meat on all sides. You can skip this step if you like.
- Transfer the meat and the pan juices to the slow cooker and add the next 5 ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4.
- 15 minutes before serving stir the starch into the water and pour in the slow cooker, stir and cover. Let it simmer on the high setting for those 15 minutes for the sauce to thicken.
